Delucas - cinnamon (indie rap, 2023)
Cinnamon is a 2023 indie rap album by delucas which i lent my voice to as a narrator on the tracks “Doin’ Enough (intro)”, “Intermission”', Sensation of Fear (Interlude), and “victory Lap”.
This was a passion project, as it was a collective effort from a handful of small-time independent artists from all over the United states and other parts of the world.
I’m personally very proud of this project solely because of what it represents to me, and that’s community.
Everyone really came together for this album and seeing the end result come together was one of the most rewarding experiences i’ve had, and I can’t be prouder of delucas and the rest of the crew.
noiseaoife/virtual anime girl - war (Noise, 2019-2020)
in 2019/2020, way Before cinnamon, I did a noise project with a friend from galway, ireland. It’s a story about An ex prisoner of war who struggles to adjust to the world after having faced the adversities of imprisonment. The sequence of the tracks represent the progressive decay of mind and morality, until he ultimately dies of his own hubris.
I lent my voice for the tracks “i cant hear”, “I did something terrible”, and “static”.
This is also the first record where I really stepped into metal vocals, and I’ve been learning and cultivating this skill ever since.
This was also my gateway into noise music, as I also began producing noise mixes by myself.
My friend from ireland was really the tip of the spear for this project and i am forever grateful for the opportunity. You may listen to the full album on Bandcamp.
