Photography
Let’s set the record straight - I am the furthest thing from a photographer, but people seem to like it when i try to take a half decent picture of something that catches my eye.
I think taking a photograph of the things around you freezes that moment in time and immortalizes the memory of experiencing or witnessing it so that the moment never dies out, helping it stay fresh in our minds.
so The reason I personally take photographs is because I’m a very sentimental person by nature, and I want certain moments to last forever, which is why I think photos are important.
I’ve travelled quite a great deal growing up, from when I was a child and a little less frequently as a young adult, so I value those family vacation trips to walkable cities a lot more now than I did when I was in my early-to-late teens, because I always felt like a changed person after each trip regardless of whether or not I actually went there for some kind of transformative experience.
Back home in singapore, I used to enjoy going to underground gigs that exposed me to some really great bands hailing from this city. for a Long time, I felt like I’ve built a whole other life through this music and through these shows that’s taught me so much, both about myself and the people around me, and those experiences, good and bad, are among the things I am grateful to have been a part of.
You can take a look at some of the pictures I took over the past few years over here:
